What is $MOTION?

Post about the communities you're in. Motion scores it, burns real supply, and builds your tip allocation. Live on Robinhood Chain.

You post. Motion pays attention.

$MOTION is the first TipFi protocol on Robinhood Chain. TipFi is tip finance: your posts on X earn you a tipping allocation, and a locked treasury of real $MOTION backs every bit of it.

Here is the whole loop:

  1. Post stuff. Motion watches a set of target communities on X. We pick up everything that counts: $cashtags, @mentions, quotes and replies. If you posted it, the protocol saw it.

  2. The graph scores it. Eligible activity earns points. At the end of each cycle, your points set your tip allocation. More posting, more points, bigger allocation. Social activity is the only way to earn it.

  3. The system burns it. Tips put $MOTION into circulation, so the burn lowers supply. Every 30 minutes, your activity burns $MOTION straight from the treasury, and burned supply is gone forever.

  4. You tip it. You give away your allocation by tipping accounts on the timeline. Using the Tip bot, you can tip posts you like, people you like, and communities you hang out in. Tips you receive are real $MOTION: claim them to your wallet, or tip them forward.

There is nothing to set up. Scoring runs automatically on the 30-minute cycle, and every burn is posted on-chain with a public transaction you can verify.

Every 30 minutes: your posts are scored, the treasury burns $MOTION, and you earn Tip Credit.

The 80% treasury

About 80% of the entire $MOTION supply is locked in the protocol treasury. It has two jobs:

  • Burns. Every 30 minutes, the treasury destroys supply against the community's social activity. Burned supply is permanently removed from circulation.

  • Tip allocations. The credit you earn, and the tips creators send each other, are backed by a dedicated tip allocation from this pool.

The treasury runs on on-chain permissions that allow exactly two things: tip allocations and token burns. Nothing else moves. The Technical section has the full story.

The communities

Motion indexes token communities on X and measures bagworking: the real posting, replying, quoting, and retweeting that goes on inside a community. Live today:

  • $MOTION

  • $WISHBONE

  • $PONS

  • $BRODIE

  • $STONKBROKER

We target strong, large bagworking communities, and the core team adds more strategic partners over time.
