Do I need to buy anything?

No. You don't buy, stake, hold, or connect anything to earn. Post in the tracked communities on X with 25+ followers and you're earning. Every burn is paid from the protocol treasury, never from holders.

Where do tips come from?

The protocol treasury (about 80% of the total supply), locked to exactly two jobs: burning supply every cycle, and backing tip allocations. Tips pass from person to person inside Motion, and the treasury only sends real $MOTION on-chain when somebody claims.

I got tipped. Now what?

Two options, and you can mix them freely. Tip it forward: a received tip adds to your balance, ready to pass on from the timeline. Claim it: log in with X on your motion.tips profile, paste in the wallet address you want, and hit claim. Tipping has the steps.

Where did my post go?

Almost always timing. Motion reads X continuously and scores on the next 30-minute cycle, so give it a beat. Still nothing? Your post probably scored zero; Earn Points lists the usual reasons (account too new, too few followers, duplicate text, already counted, spam filter).

Is the burn real?

Yes, and you can check it yourself. Every burn is a real on-chain transfer to the dead address, linked from the burn log with a proof you can open on the explorer. Total supply is fixed at 1,000,000,000, and the token has no mint function.

Can the team drain the treasury?

Not from a server, and not by one person. The backend's only permission is enforced by on-chain smart contracts and can send tokens to the burn address, period. A fully compromised server still couldn't put one token in a wallet. Moving treasury funds any other way takes multiple treasury owners signing in public, on-chain. What's a "tracked community"?

A token community Motion indexes and scores. Today that's $MOTION, $WISHBONE, $PONS, $BRODIE, and $STONKBROKER. We target strong, large bagworking communities, and the core team adds more strategic partners over time.

What's Tip Credit worth?

Tip Credit is counted in $MOTION. If you have 500 Tip Credit, you can send 500 $MOTION in tips, the number you see is the amount you can give.
